Justin Davis, Director
Hi, I’m Justin Davis the proud director of Watch Me Sculpt here in Indiana. I was born and raised in Indianapolis and graduated from Perry Meridian in 2001. An avid sports-lover as a kid, love for the arts have admittedly become an acquired taste. I attended IU for both undergrad and graduate work, studying both business and education. One constant in my life has been the enjoyment of working with kids and teens. I worked as a YMCA after-school counselor in high school, a YMCA Camp Tecumseh counselor in college, and as a Young Life counselor at Lake Champion (New York). After undergrad, I was fortunate enough to participate in some considerable spiritual and life learning through my church in Indianapolis (Common Ground). Through this experience and others, I was able to learn about people and cultures across the world traveling to over 20 different countries. Through my involvement with IU Christian Student Fellowship, I traveled to Mexico on several occasions volunteering at a children’s home called Casa De Ninos. I cherish several lifelong relationships from Casa De Ninos and continue to stay active assisting as I can. I also volunteered through ServLife at children’s homes in India and Nepal. Upon returning and after completing a one-year internship with IU Christian Student Fellowship, I began an 8-year stint as the camp director and assistant for the prestigious Indiana University diving program. Working alongside countless Olympic diving greats such as Hobie Billingsley, Jeff Huber, John Wingfield, Drew Johansen, and Greg Louganis to provide an inspiring atmosphere for athletes and kids was truly an honor. Through my involvement with IU Diving, I fortuitously met and befriended Watch Me Sculpt founder, Alex Mackey. Alex is one of the most positive and uplifting people I have ever met. It’s truly a pleasure to work with Alex providing a quality after-school arts program for kids nationwide.
